What SAM can do
SAM integrates with the finance function through MYOB, QuickBooks and Xero; provides stock management control, allows online purchases using PayPal and provides unique reporting flexibility.
SAM is an online database that caters for multiple users in any location with internet connection. This allows for staff to use SAM simultaneously as well as enable various security levels for different staff accessing the database. You can use the database offsite at market stalls, galleries and exhibitions for ease of sale transactions and production of certificate of authenticity.
SAM is owned by Desart Inc. It was developed with funding provided by the Office for the Arts – Department of Regional Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport in 2011.
Who uses SAM?
SAM is used by 80 art centres nationally. Regions include remote and urban communities in NT, WA and SA; the communities and islands of Queensland, Torres Strait Islands; and the urban & regional communities of Victoria.
