Aboriginal-owned and governed the art centre is located in Mparntwe (Alice Springs) Northern Territory. The Art Centre is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Hermannsburg School watercolour tradition, continuing the legacy of Albert Namatjira one of Australia’s most celebrated 20th century artists.

The artists of Iltja Ntjarra are celebrated for striking watercolour depictions of their country and for innovative projects that often address social and cultural commentary.

Iltja Ntjarra Art Centre’s board of directors has engaged Desart to assist them in the recruitment of their new Art Centre Manager.
