Tjungu Palya Art Centre on the APY Lands are recruiting!
Tjungu Palya artists and directors are seeking a dynamic person to manage their art centre business in the remote community of Nyapari on the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Lands in the far north-west corner of South Australia.
The Art Centre Manager role requires strong leadership and the ability to deliver on artistic and community driven projects with exceptional outcomes as directed by the Tjungu Palya Board. The Art Centre Manager will be able to inspire and lead a team of art workers as well as manage national and international networks and relationships.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a capacity to work effectively across cultures, and a genuine commitment to Indigenous self-determination. Strong management and analytical skills are essential for ensuring effective operations of Tjungu Palya Aboriginal Corporation as well as a solid understanding of the fine art industry.
