Tangentyere Council is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Town Camps and Central Australia. First incorporated in 1979, the organisation was a finalist in the 2016 Reconciliation Australia, Indigenous Governance Awards and is one of the 15-20 biggest Aboriginal Corporations in Australia. The Council offers 6 Weeks Annual Leave
Salary: 65,372 per annum pro rata

Tangentyere Artists is part of the Social Services Division, which aims to improve the quality of life of Central Australian Aboriginal people and the wider community through providing innovative, responsive and culturally appropriate services. The studio facilitator is responsible for identifying and implementing specific arts workshops which enhance artistic practise and related skill and product development, at the Tangentyere Artists gallery and at Town Camp community centres. The position will also provide support when required for scheduled events such as exhibition openings and art fairs, and assist with the cataloguing of artworks. This position requires a satisfactory Police Check and Ochre Card.
