What an incredible Desert Mob 2018! Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, to the incredible exhibiting artists, and to all the art centre directors and staff for their commitment and dedication to supporting Central Australian Aboriginal arts and culture.
Desart extends a special thanks to Tjanpi Desert Weavers, Hermannsburg Potters, Ernabella Arts, Papunya Tula Artists, Tangentyere Artists, Yarrenyty Arltere Artists, Iwantja Arts, Martumili Artists, Spinifex Hill Studio and Warlukurlangu Artists for their inspiring and thought-provoking presentations at the Desert Mob Symposium, and to our fabulous MC Glenn Iseger-Pilkington. Thanks also to our presenting partner Araluen Arts Centre and to all the hard-working staff behind the scenes. The Desert Mob Exhibition runs until 21 October 2018 at Araluen Arts Centre, 61 Larapinta Drive, Alice Springs. All works can also be viewed on the online Desart gallery.
