Artist statement

We always go with family to funeral at Mount Liebig and we join to sing with our family and share our song, Aranda song. All the family from different community are gathering for gospel song, from Ntaria, from Papunya, and from Kintore, from Warlpiri family and Pitjantjatjara family to Mount Liebig. At Mount Liebig we sing gospel every night at 6 o’clock, at sunset with family. I’m Hayley Panangka, I’m singing that gospel with my cousin Ngala, singing Aranda and Luritja. Owa, kala mwerre.
